The Nanostructured Materials Laboratory intends to offer students and researchers essential facilities for the development of research related to nanostructured materials, covering from fundamental concepts to a range of applications, with emphasis on environmental processes.
The lab was founded in 2024 and has students and researchers from the Graduate Program of Chemistry and Graduate Program of Technology and Science of Materials, as well as undergraduate students. The research lines include synthesis and characterization of nanoporous materials and nanoparticles, treatment and enrichment of biogas, and adsorptive processes for the removal of pollutants in effluents.
